Sovereign

Up next, Ruby can be seen playing a supporting role in Christian Swegal’s debut directorial feature Sovereign. The film follows Jerry (Nick Offerman), a father who indoctrinates his son Joe (Jacob Tremblay) into the sovereign citizen movement, teaching him that “laws are mere illusions and freedom is something you take” (Jarod Neece). Additional cast include Dennis Quad, Martha Plimpton, Thomas Mann, and Nancy Travis. The film will premiere as part of the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival (June 4th-15th), prior to it’s nationwide theatrical release on June 20th. Tickets to Tribeca are available here.
